Always a favorite go to location for Photographers.  The sunsets are incredible over the open field located near the entrance.

Several locations within the park to choose from so you get a variety of images based on your location.  I tend to start in the back of the park and move forward to the front as the time gets later to meet the sunset.

If you wander to the back of the park and start with the bike path (just keep an eye out on the road because the folks riding bikes are moving really fast), the tree lined road makes for some absolutely breathtaking photos with the foliage.  There are restrooms located between the road (bike path) and the winding sidewalk that leads you through a forest of trees if you need to stop and change for any other outfits.  If you are looking for outfit suggestions, the color wheel is a great start.  Opposites always tend to bring you out more than wearing something similar.

The forest path is a winding sidewalk which can change the scenery rather dramatically from the bike path with small skinny tree trunks along the way.

There is a small wooden bridge if you would like to get a more classic image between the magnolia tree area and the winding sidewalk.

The park offers 2 houses as backdrops if you would like to get really creative.  The large gray house is available with a porch.  The smaller house has a fence around it.

Moving to the front of the park, you will notice tall wheat like grass on the outer perimeter.  This IS INCREDIBLE for images where the photographer is sitting a little low and just allowing you to be.  However, there are some stickers so highly recommend jeans or find a small pathway in there and don’t veer off it.

The open fields with the sun set in the west also align beautifully as well with the grass being green.

I hope this helps and I’m always available to answer any questions you may have!

xoxo
