Opposites Attract
Start with your setting- Is it blue sky- green background or a neutral warm tone. Now think about what you want to accomplish with your setting. Bold opposites will allow you to stand out or you can go with a white as well in a colorful background.
Neutral on Neutral
If you want a more understated photo session, then wearing more neutral tones with a neutral setting will give you a sense of a more earthy feeling. In these cases, the background and the attire is very neutral.
