Fernandina Beach, Florida
Downtown Main Street in Fernandina Beach offers a variety of historical architecture if you are looking for a vintage style. The buildings in the photos above are all downtown and set the scene for a fun courthouse elopement for this couple. Additionally those wanted to wander over to the beach which is about 5 minutes away and get some adorable photos along the ocean. In the fall, you get more of the beach to yourself so that’s always something to consider.

If you want winding roads with overarching majestic oak trees, this park is for you. We ended up in about a 2 hour photo session, moving between the downtown, beach and then the State Park area and completely changed the scene each time and were thrilled at the image variety allotted.
The maternity sessions at this park were on a different level. With the sunset fast approaching we decided to go over to the path left of the Fort parking area. This was a wooden walkway to the beach along with some spectacular areas to photograph. Always keep in mind what you are wanting to show in your images, you can check the sunset times also in your area as well. (The park may close before sunset so again double check the times- I totally missed this when assuming the building would be open as well for the brick look)
Jeans, a simple white shirt and sports bra, dancing, the wind was on our side (changed in the car parking lot for the dress) it was a good day .
